Great application from the best German press.

Great app and content, with German and European perspective. App is perfect to practice my German reading.

One of my favorite news apps.

I enjoy reading the Siegel to get a different view on news events from the views in the US media. The articles are usually well written and give sufficient background information to make the news meaningful.

... but I will never know that because it is available in German only. I think that a leading paper in a leading European state should look beyond its own backyard and have apps available not only in English, but also in languages of sizable German neighbors, such as French and Polish.

It is refreshing to get another news source. I check The Spiegel periodically for world news. It is good to find different views of the world.

Der Spiegel is my preferred news source for events around the world, I feel as though some of the writing is more sophisticated and to the point than US media outlets. Since the app is in German, learning German has been getting easier and easier when you start noticing the dynamic sentence structure.

I regularly read SPON for a German & European perspective on world news, and it has been an invaluable asset for use in my German classes.

I use it every day, its easy to read and see the pictures, its stable and you can activate push notifications by category. I like it.

Live in California, keeps me connected to Germany, where I grew up and still have family and friends.

The Spiegel App is a great mobile extension of the German weekly print magazine. The journalism is proper - great to research, multiple viewpoints and critical. Provides good background knowledge. One of the last great weekly journals with a focus on politics and economy in a German, European and global context.

I love this app. Easy to use and read. I grew up in Germany and Der Spiegel app is a great way for me to stay up to date here in the US, keeps from my German getting to rusty :)
